Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La., announced the legislation Tuesday, describing it as way spare passengers from “unfair fees” while encouraging them to ease up a bit on the carry-on bags.

Here we go again. Didn’t they learn anything from the Bank fee debacle? Apparently not. Stay out of the way of business and you will create more jobs. They are going to have to pay for the cost of flying one way or another. Either you charge specific fees like this one or you increase overall cost for everyone. Maybe next the Dems will introduce a bill to stop those unnecessary additional costs for First Class. I mean, to be fair to everyone you have to make sure that everyone is treated exactly the same, right? Why are the people in First charged more than the people in coach? And since you’re looking at it, why should people in First get special treatment? It just isn’t fair. Congress should pass a bill! MORON…
