Here’s something that hasn’t been covered in the MSM for obvious reasons, but needs to be brought into the light. From Blackfive:

But possibly the worst thing is that the National Security Strategy Obama was introducing resurrects the sovereignty stripping, military weakening, massive income redistributing Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST). If you treasure the Constitution and enjoy the idea of our own elected officials running our country and not unelected and unaccountable bureaucrats in Brussels, then it would behoove you to learn about the LOST and prepare to fight off the administration’s efforts to ratify this treaty.

Remember, We the People ARE the government. Our elected officials are merely our servants.

You really do need to read this as it shows just how far the OSM is willing to go to weaken America and make us just another socialist “people’s” republic governed by the UN.

MEXICO CITY — Between 20 and 25 bodies were recovered from an abandoned silver mine in southern Mexico, apparently victims of drug gang violence, federal police commissioner Facundo Rosas said Sunday.

The corpses appear to have accumulated over an undetermined time as they were tossed over a 300-foot precipice into the abandoned mine, located near Taxco, a colonial-era city popular with international tourists. The region is dotted by hundreds of mines.

Yet any effort to stem the flow of illegals from Mexico is met by resistance from the left. We don’t want these people here, now do we?

Illegals are often portrayed as the victims but if that’s the case why aren’t they coming here legally? Enforcement like that of Arizona is ridiculed, yet we have no way of knowing who is here if they are undocumented. Try throwing them out and everyone starts screaming about what a racist you are. The fact is, if anyone is here illegally, they have no rights except the right of export. Also, if you are found to be here illegally, you should never have the privilege of coming back legally.

These people just don’t get it. You cannot create an environment for prosperity by taxing and spending. Restraint is the key, not spending money that you’re going to have to take from the earners. The short sightedness of these people is amazing. They don’t think past their own next move. Blame someone else and expect the next guy to bail me out.

When Atlas finally does shrug, it’s going to be a disaster all around. The problem is that the looters are always looking for the next person to blame it on or to bail them out. When you run out of options, the only way up is after you hit the bottom. Don’t look for a bounce from the bottom either because it’s going to be an ugly flat line before it starts creeping back up and only then if the powers that be get out of the way.

A Democratic senator is introducing legislation for a bailout of troubled union pension funds. If passed, the bill could put another $165 billion in liabilities on the shoulders of American taxpayers.

The bill, which would put the Pension Benefit Guarantee Corporation behind struggling pensions for union workers, is being introduced by Senator Bob Casey, (D-Pa.), who says it will save jobs and help people.

So not only to the unions drive up prices, they also get the rest of us, who don’t get the benefit of their outrageous pension plans and salaries, to pay for their pension. Where do the “bailouts” end?

Those of you who keep shouting that Obama is not a socialist don’t know what socialism is all about. THIS IS SOCIALISM. Problem is (for those who support it across the board) that only the select few “benefit” from this particular brand of it while everyone still suffers its life sucking drain on the economy and our checkbooks.

Oil tax increase would help pay to clean up spills.

Lawmakers want to increase the current 8-cent-a-barrel tax on oil to make sure there is enough money available to respond to oil spills. At least 6 million gallons of crude have spewed into the Gulf of Mexico since a drilling rig exploded April 20 off the Louisiana coast.

OK so which is it? Is BP going to pay for it or is the tax going to be used to pay for the cleanup? The fact is, the tax increase has nothing to do with the oil spill other than it gives the Obamanation another excuse to raise taxes.

If there’s an oil spill, make those who caused it pay to clean it up. If they were negligent in causing it, fine them on top of it. End of story. NO NEW TAXES.

Do you really think that the government is going to let that money just sit there unused? Of course not. They need it for more vote buying schemes like the healthcare scam. Just look at how broke social security is. Why? Because Congress just couldn’t stand to see all that money sitting there waiting for those who paid it in to claim it when they (Congress) could spend it to buy votes.

This past Sunday, in one of the most aggressive and offensive intimidation tactics to date, hundreds of members of the largest union – the SEIU – stormed the front yard of Bank of America deputy general counsel Greg Baer’s home. The angry mob had bullhorns, signs and even broke the law by trespassing to bully Baer’s teenage son, the only one home at the time, who locked himself in the bathroom out of fear.

This is what unions do. They pressure politicians into spending too much. They push government into bad policy decisions. They sacrifice the private sector for the public sector. And now, they trespass and break the law only to scare the children of private citizens to get their way.
If you think the unions are working alone, think again.

Surprised? You shouldn’t be.
